Farewell...

...and good luck, departing JETs. For those in the JET Programme, the end of July signifies endings and beginnings.

Last night we in Fukuma had out Farewell party for 4 departing JETs. My co-ALT at Genkai, Elaine, who is headed back to school to be a boni fide teacher. Kathy, who's plans are still up in the air but is going home after a long 4 years, Andy, who is staying in Japan and now lives in Nagahama District in Fukuoka City, and Max, a friend of Kathy's from Oita Prefecture, who is also leaving after her 4th year.
